Journey With ASU to the End of the Earth!

At the end of 2022, thirteen students from Arizona State University, along with two faculty instructors, were transformed by the experience of a lifetime as they traveled to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia.

The study abroad program, offered through ASU’s School for the Future of Innovation in Society, challenged participants to think differently about themselves, the environment they live in, and the society they are a part of, as they experienced first hand one of the most remote and remarkable places on the planet.

It was an experience that left everyone changed in some way.
