The Voyage
Reflection | Emily BaggotThis voyage has been the most intense, mind blowing experience. Starting in South Georgia, I was blown away by the sheer amount of wildlife that inhabited the beaches. Setting out on the first zodiac cruise and seeing the wildlife was a reminder of why I chose to study conservation biology and it didn’t stop in South Georgia. When we arrived in Antarctica I had even more reminders of why it is so important to care about the environment. The icebergs were the most amazing part of the landscape in the South Pole and the mountains were tremendous. I will never forget this experience as it has been life changing.
